Venue
The workshop will be held at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), located at 85 Hoegi-ro, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
Founded in 1996, KIAS has served as a flagship research site for the basic sciences in Seoul, and provides an arena for dynamic scientific interactions.
Hotel
We encourage participants to accommodate in the Orakai hotel in Daehak-ro, Seoul. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Seoul, within easy reach of many of the city’s most iconic landmarks and cultural attractions, and surrounded by a wide range of dining options.
The estimated cost for accommodation is $600 for the entire week. We will announce at a later point in time to which amount the accommodation costs will be covered.
A chartered bus ride to KIAS from the hotel will be offered in the morning (20 minute ride).
Airport
The main airport serving international travels to Seoul is Incheon International Airport (ICN). Gimpo International Airport (GMP) may also be convenient for those traveling from Asia.
From Incheon International Airport to Hotel, we recommend to take Airport Limousine Bus bound for Jongro-gu (70-90 min).
From Gimpo International Airport to Hotel, you may take Subway Line 5 to Euljiro 4-ga Station (70 min).
From both Airport, taxis are also a convenient and reasonably priced option (USD 50)
